When filling the bird feeders this morning at 7.30am, I looked up and this is what I saw…..
……it lasted all of 5 minutes, so beautiful, so fleeting but it has been followed by a beautiful cold, but sunny day.

Ah! I love a fiery sky! And you captured those five minutes so well. Thanks for sharing it.
It was so wonderful Alison, I just stood and watched it until the show was over, it made a beautiful start to the day.
A beautiful morning show! Much nicer than watching the news. We gardeners are a lucky lot.
Thanks Peter, watching it changing was quite awesome!
What a lovely start to your day Pauline, though the expression ‘red sky in the morning, sailor’s warning’ comes to mind! My world is white, white, white at the moment!
It was stunning Denise, for all of 5 minutes! White is beautiful too, just think how it would have looked with orange reflected everywhere!
That’s beautiful Pauline. Thanks for sharing.
It’s a pleasure Christina, glad you liked it.
Great show. Opens the door for a walk through the garden. I did the same this very morning despite the frost. Brilliant sunshine.
It was a truly wonderful way to start the day Ian, thank goodness I went out to feed the birds when I did.
Such a beautiful sky, full of drama!
It was amazing Jason, such beautiful colours, but they soon faded to yellow and then were gone.
My favorite sight as my day starts….the coloring of the new day’s sky!
Mine too Donna, it sets me up for the day ahead. So beautiful.
So beautiful! Every time I see a gorgeous sunrise or sunset, I feel the wonder anew, as though I had never seen one before. But each one is different, and I never tire of them.
Thanks Deb. I too just stand in awe of the power of nature, it is so amazing. I love each and every one.
